The Ona Somrient FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Ona Somrient FC's Enzo Herrero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Lizbeth in the 15th minute of play. Claude Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save B68 Toftir from getting a goal against them. Beat Leutwyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Dias in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes B68 Toftir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Idacio Sánchez who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Enzo Herrero heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save B68 Toftir from getting a goal against them. Claude Erosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Asserlindh to maneuver through the defense. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save B68 Toftir from getting a goal against them. Claude Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ona Somrient FC defense, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claude Erosa. The Ona Somrient FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claude Erosa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Lizbeth in the 42nd minute of play forced Ona Somrient FC's goalkeeper Claude Erosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Maximino Goi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa. Claude Erosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Lizbeth to strike the kick off in the second half. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Montes in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Akbulatov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claude Erosa. Hüseyin Akbulatov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Ona Somrient FC's Fernan Alcantara was substituted for Silvano Montes. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Alcantara in the 62nd minute of play. Enzo Herrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Maximino Goi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claude Erosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Beat Leutwyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by B68 Toftir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Idacio Sánchez was slow to take the kick. During this time Ona Somrient FC's players had a chance to rest. B68 Toftir were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Ona Somrient FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lázaro Lizbeth took the corner. 95 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Dias came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ona Somrient FC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after B68 Toftir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Idacio Sánchez took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of B68 Toftir's goalie and right to Gartzen Huarte. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. B68 Toftir's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. B68 Toftir's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
