Wellington Barbosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Metehan Tekiner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Gaffar Erşahin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Veloso's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Birlergencligi's Metehan Tekiner got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Jerônimo Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Birlergencligi's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Veloso came free, but Gaffar Erşahin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metehan Tekiner in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jonas Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Vasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Veloso couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Birlergencligi getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Berkin Binışık hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metehan Tekiner made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Metehan Tekiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birlergencligi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metehan Tekiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wellington Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metehan Tekiner's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Wellington Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan Tekiner in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vasco FC defense, Metehan Tekiner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Barbosa. The Vasco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Barbosa should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Adalberto de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birlergencligi the free kick. 72 minutes into the match, Metehan Tekiner notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vasco FC's Wellington Barbosa. Wellington Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Vasco FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gil Motta hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Marquinhos Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metehan Tekiner in the 83rd minute of play forced Vasco FC's goalkeeper Wellington Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Berkin Binışık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metehan Tekiner struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Wellington Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birlergencligi. Birlergencligi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
