The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artturi Kaven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Ren Zhi Ke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 24th minute Ren Zhi Ke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artturi Kaven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Kaplan's Dércio Leitão tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Kaplan were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Donadeu AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damião Granja 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. In the 55th minute, Luciano Victoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artturi Kaven was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Kaplan made a substitution. Teodosio Erramu replaced Pascual Burni. After 73 played minutes Donadeu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Gomesano. Donadeu AFC's Norberto Abeitia was substituted for Osvaldo Lluciano. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Ren Zhi Ke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artturi Kaven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Anastasio Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
