Luis Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Edwardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquinhos Schmidt made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Donadeu AFC's Mario Rodriguez. Wellington Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihăiţă Stanomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Artturi Kaven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Mihăiţă Stanomir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute of the match Osvaldo Lluciano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wellington Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Donadeu AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luis Edwardo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Tiago Gabriel Mesquita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Artturi Kaven was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Donadeu AFC booed when Vasco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Anastasio Ursino made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Lluciano's late challenge caught a Vasco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Lluciano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Wellington Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anastasio Ursino went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Wellington Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Ursino in the 69th minute. Artturi Kaven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Veloso in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Jonas Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artturi Kaven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mihăiţă Stanomir came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Donadeu AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihăiţă Stanomir couldn't finish the play. Donadeu AFC made a substitution. Norberto Abeitia replaced Osvaldo Lluciano. Donadeu AFC's Everardo Rosio was substituted for Mihăiţă Stanomir. In the 85th minute, Donadeu AFC's Anastasio Ursino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 89th minute of the match Everardo Rosio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wellington Barbosa skillfully saved the ball. Donadeu AFC played a much better game than Vasco FC and deserved their victory. The Vasco FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
