Claude Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Caires, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Husky's Jago Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsombor Karsai in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes C.A. Husky's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Nagy who took care of the corner kick. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsombor Karsai in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zsombor Karsai. 48 minutes into the game, C.A. Husky's Kajar Indrekson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claude Bermudez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tallia Incera was the one to do the kick off. Husky got a freekick which was hit by Antero Otero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Van Daelen in the 77th minute of play forced C.A. In the 84th minute Kajar Indrekson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tallia Incera in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Bermudez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Fabien Van Daelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Husky the free kick. C.A. Husky's Nabar Zafrilla was substituted for Gonçalo Caires. Fabien Van Daelen kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. C.A. Husky's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
