The goal made the score 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Unai Calatayud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yoel Quevedo. Recolta Alamor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Unai Calatayud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Chris Bateman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jerrold Valcarcel made a huge save. Jerrold Valcarcel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Pennington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Verdaguer in the 20th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Herberto Palacios almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo did a great save. Wes Nichols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrold Valcarcel having to interfere. With a little luck, Atlético Ourense's Jerrold Valcarcel got control of the ball when Cyprian Rosen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Wes Nichols managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recolta Alamor's supporters rose to their feet, but Wes Nichols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerrold Valcarcel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerrold Valcarcel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wes Nichols in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Recolta Alamor's Emmanuel Pennington nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerrold Valcarcel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jerrold Valcarcel made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Emmanuel Pennington sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Unai Calatayud was the one to do the kick off. Unai Calatayud struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Yoel Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Ourense. In the 61st minute, Wes Nichols made a precise shot to the right of Jerrold Valcarcel. Atlético Ourense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Recolta Alamor's Norman Donnelly was substituted for Chris Bateman. 72 minutes in the game Damian Dean did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Norman Donnelly. Tartalo Rajoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yoel Quevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tartalo Rajoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlético Ourense's Jerrold Valcarcel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Pennington in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Donnelly in the 77th minute of play forced Atlético Ourense's goalkeeper Jerrold Valcarcel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Dean during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 95 in the game by Tartalo Rajoi from a close distance when the talented Yoel Quevedo managed to make a qualified save. Recolta Alamor's players were relieved.
