In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alex Team's goalkeeper Iacob Nistor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iacob Nistor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Larkins Potter's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Wara got a corner. Alex Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cheb El-Hadi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Larkins Potter in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iacob Nistor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Larkins Potter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Nistor was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Larkins Potter in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iacob Nistor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Team's Iacob Nistor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Potter in the 24th minute of play. Larkins Potter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Nistor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Faouzi Louahla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Nistor was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. When Larkins Potter came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Wara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larkins Potter couldn't finish the play. If Larkins Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute Larkins Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Nistor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Team's Iacob Nistor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Potter in the 35th minute of play. Larkins Potter might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Nistor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Larkins Potter ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Larkins Potter in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iacob Nistor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iacob Nistor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larkins Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Wara were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Manuel Arruda's late challenge caught a Wara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute of the match Cheb El-Hadi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iacob Nistor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iacob Nistor was a little too slow when Larkins Potter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. With a little luck, Alex Team's Iacob Nistor got control of the ball when Larkins Potter tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larkins Potter in the 63rd minute of play forced Alex Team's goalkeeper Iacob Nistor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Wara's Larkins Potter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iacob Nistor. That made the score 0-6 after 67 minutes of play. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Manuel Arruda hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Wara's Larkins Potter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Nistor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Larkins Potter lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Iacob Nistor. With a little luck, Alex Team's Iacob Nistor got control of the ball when Larkins Potter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Larkins Potter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alex Team's Iacob Nistor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Florin Aluchei in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wara's Taha Rami. 88 minutes into the match, Larkins Potter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iacob Nistor, 0-9. Larkins Potter might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Nistor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Larkins Potter ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goalkeeper Iacob Nistor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larkins Potter.
