La Scaloneta's Ewan Davin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Costes got free with Jean Van Damme in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darren Teisseire charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darren Teisseire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Darren Teisseire. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zosimo Vadillo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ewan Davin saved La Scaloneta from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Zosimo Vadillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ewan Davin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sergio Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewan Davin having to interfere. Ewan Davin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ewan Davin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Medero Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Teisseire to maneuver through the defense. Jean Van Damme made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Costes in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moussa Queffelec got free with Jean Van Damme in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Zosimo Vadillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ewan Davin. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zosimo Vadillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madjid Pauly to strike the kick off in the second half. Ewan Davin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Birila in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 56th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Ewan Davin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Moussa Queffelec. 59 minutes into the game, Zosimo Vadillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ewan Davin. Zosimo Vadillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 61 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Vadillo came free, but Ewan Davin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Sergio Jerano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ewan Davin. Sergio Jerano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 67th minute, Zosimo Vadillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Moussa Queffelec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Van Damme having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Ewan Davin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Jerano. Ewan Davin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Birila in the 77th minute. When La Scaloneta's Madjid Pauly in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ewan Davin made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Emiliano Nardo sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Ewan Davin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Nardo. Papillon AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
