In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Villamarin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute El Gallo de Moron were awarded a corner. Teofilo Garrote went to the cornerflag to take it. Teofilio Lorca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Gonzalez having to interfere. Nacho Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Teofilio Lorca sent off a good shot on target. Aldo Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Garrote in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Garrote's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Villamarin was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Servin in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Aldo Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Emiliano Rodera hit a great ball. Alfonso Villamarin came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by El Gallo de Moron's Emiliano Rodera. But to his dismay, Emiliano Rodera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Rodera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Villamarin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luisinho Laguna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Vanja Džaferović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Luisinho Laguna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Villamarin came out of the goal and Luisinho Laguna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Alfonso Villamarin managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the match, Luisinho Laguna notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin. Alfonso Villamarin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes in the game Aldo Rico did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Teofilo Garrote. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepillo Servin in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Leones FC's Teofilio Lorca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nacho Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pepillo Servin went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Alfonso Villamarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Garrote in the 97th minute. The Leones FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Gallo de Moron's performance. The match ended with a win for El Gallo de Moron.
