Ewan Davin was a little too slow when Gustavo Birila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. Papillon AC's Sergio Jerano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 37 minutes of play, Papillon AC's Sergio Jerano made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ewan Davin was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Ewan Davin got control of the ball when Sergio Jerano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ewan Davin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madjid Pauly, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Madjid Pauly was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Gustavo Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papillon AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Birila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ewan Davin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Ewan Davin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the game, Sergio Jerano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Ewan Davin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Ewan Davin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ewan Davin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Gustavo Birila notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of La Scaloneta's Ewan Davin. Ewan Davin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Papillon AC were the better team. Papillon AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
