Spartak Moscow's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Tobis Joey scored to the left of an out of position Americo Blasi, making the score, 1-0. In the 5th minute, Saivis Rentovics reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Americo Blasi. The goal made the score 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobis Joey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Americo Blasi. That made the score 3-0 in the 11 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Saivis Rentovics put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Americo Blasi. Benicio Ferrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Saivis Rentovics made a precise shot to the right of Americo Blasi. F.C. Spartak Moscow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Tobis Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saivis Rentovics might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Blasi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saivis Rentovics ran back to his position shaking his head. F.C. Spartak Moscow's Americo Blasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Spartak Moscow from getting a goal against them. Aaron Ramsey made a great header on Arsenal FC's corner, it was just that F.C. Spartak Moscow's Americo Blasi managed to reach the ball for a save. If Tobis Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to F.C. Spartak Moscow getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fausto Abadie hit a great ball. If Tobis Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, F.C. Spartak Moscow's Carlos Gonzo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Gonzo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C. Spartak Moscow protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Gonzo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Aaron Ramsey, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saivis Rentovics was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Saivis Rentovics shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Blasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobis Joey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Americo Blasi having to make a save. Saivis Rentovics scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Americo Blasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arsenal FC made a substitution. Jack Wilshere replaced Aaron Ramsey. 11-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Tobis Joey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Tobis Joey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 83 minutes into the match, F.C. Spartak Moscow's goal looked a bit too open when Tobis Joey came free, but Americo Blasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Jack Wilshere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Americo Blasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arsenal FC's 龙阳升 was substituted for 钱弘鹰. In the 90th minute, Saivis Rentovics ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Blasi was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 15-0 when Saivis Rentovics sped through F.C. Spartak Moscow's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Americo Blasi. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arsenal FC fully deserved thier win.
