The audience thought a goal was coming when James Batistuta got free with Olavo Pinto in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olavo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 29th minute of the match. Olavo Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Erasmo Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavo Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gică Busuioc's shot from short distance in the 100th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cassandros Elite Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A4p FC Gad.
