Rolf Hamberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gelu Lepuș having to make a save. Gelu Lepuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Hamberg in the 22nd minute of play. Cadu Team's attentive Renato Barral managed to snatch the ball when Zacarias Garcez made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué Pedroso got free with Gelu Lepuș in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olavo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Paiva in the 61st minute of the match. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cadu Team from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Cassandros Elite Team's corner Jairo Veiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gelu Lepuș quite easily take care of the ball. After 73 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto da Rocha. Rolf Hamberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gelu Lepuș firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg managed to work through Cadu Team's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rolf Hamberg dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadu Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josué Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cadu Team's Teodoro Lago quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Teodoro Lago's late challenge caught a Cassandros Elite Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Lago helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Lago.
