The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. King Scorpio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesinha do Vale having to make a save. Cesinha do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Scorpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC La Masia's zone, James Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha do Vale came out of the goal and James Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC La Masia's goalkeeper Cesinha do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Xavier made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A4p FC Gad's 邱振广. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Correia in the 15th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, King Scorpio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesinha do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cesinha do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 22nd minute of the match. If King Scorpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesinha do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Soeiro. In the 33rd minute, King Scorpio made a precise shot to the right of Cesinha do Vale. FC La Masia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC La Masia's goalkeeper Cesinha do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling King Scorpio in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesinha do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. King Scorpio took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesinha do Vale. Cesinha do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cesinha do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 45th minute of play. Cesinha do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Tony Quadros. After the first half A4p FC Gad were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Simão made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Cesinha do Vale successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Evaristo da Silva in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A4p FC Gad's Iulian Berceanu. King Scorpio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesinha do Vale having to make a save. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Anfilogino Manzi replaced Erasmo Damião. Antônio Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Fyfe having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Cătălin Răduleț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo da Silva to maneuver through the defense. King Scorpio scored 0-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesinha do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesinha do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Antônio Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC La Masia's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenn Fyfe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Răduleț. After having played for 87 minutes, King Scorpio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A4p FC Gad's supporters crossed their fingers, but King Scorpio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gică Busuioc got free with Cesinha do Vale in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC La Masia's goalkeeper Cesinha do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, King Scorpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. A4p FC Gad's supporters rose to their feet, but King Scorpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesinha do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A4p FC Gad eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
