The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ombu's Cyryl Grajewski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Agustin Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Cannata in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert got control of the ball when Valentin Lidon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute Ombu were awarded a corner. Jeremias Ugaitz went to the cornerflag to take it. Ombu's Jeremias Ugaitz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José-Luis Chilavert in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A sloppy throw-in by Jan Mlejnek in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ombu's Godfredo Mendez. Agustin Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ombu's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Cabezon came free, but Agustin Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert got control of the ball when Valentin Lidon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremias Ugaitz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ombu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Senen Tartales was slow to take the kick. During this time EoDu Uai Sôccer's players had a chance to rest. Agustin Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon in the 46th minute of play.

Agustin Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Cannata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute EoDu Uai Sôccer were awarded a corner. Senen Tartales went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ombu's zone, Demetrio Cannata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Rossi came out of the goal and Demetrio Cannata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José-Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Danes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Cannata in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Grant Danes made a precise shot to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. EoDu Uai Sôccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ombu's Eusebio Cordarrel was substituted for Godfredo Mendez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Martegani in the 71st minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demetrio Cannata in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Rossi saved Ombu from getting behind. In the 74th minute EoDu Uai Sôccer were awarded a corner. Senen Tartales went to the cornerflag to take it. Cyryl Grajewski tried to clear up in front of Agustin Rossi but instead he got an unlucky hit on the ball which made it go via the left pole into goal meaning 1-2 in the 74th matchminute. A very disappointing self made goal. José-Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Danes in the 79th minute of play. When Cyryl Grajewski fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ombu's protests and gave Cyryl Grajewski a yellow card for diving instead. Cyryl Grajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Agustin Rossi made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Jardel Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd match minute, Ombu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Martegani to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ombu's Agustin Rossi got control of the ball when Marcelo Chabier tried to sneak it across the goal line.
