Gordon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Fender, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hickey Callaghan in the 42nd minute of play. Gordon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Gallarde in the 47th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahsin Atacan in the 59th minute of play forced Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Johannes Sjögren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gordon Horgan. That made the score 0-4 after 93 minutes of play. After 96 played minutes COPERNICUS TORUŃ got a freekick which was hit by Vehdi Abanoz. 97 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Sjögren came free, but Gordon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hala Madrid Iraki FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
