Fernando Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Damaso Rivas got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute László Tihanyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Anselmo Dunixi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Vela. If Leonard Grindeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Korsós in the 20th minute of the match. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gusztáv Bánhegyi in the 21st minute of play. László Tihanyi scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Gartxot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Tihanyi in the 25th minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Fernando Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Lamberto got free with Anselmo Dunixi in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Capuozzi in the 35th minute of play. Fernando Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from László Tihanyi in the 40th minute of the match. Christian Capuozzi took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Gartxot. Fernando Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Fernando Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Tihanyi in the 46th minute of play. Christian Capuozzi scored 0-6 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Gartxot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fernando Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from László Tihanyi in the 54th minute of the match. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Pink Floyd from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Lizer during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristobal Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gusztáv Bánhegyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gusztáv Bánhegyi during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute László Tihanyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Gartxot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Capuozzi in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Pink Floyd defense, Christian Capuozzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Gartxot. The Pink Floyd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Gartxot should have stopped the shot.
