Germán Gacitúa made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Teodor Buitrago. Germán Gacitúa kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Aage Hill came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Monte Hermoso Beach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aage Hill couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Aage Hill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fulgencio Pudes hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match Víctor Javier Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Enekoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Monte Hermoso Beach's Teo Remigio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Germán Gacitúa, made in the 25th minute of the game. Obi Wan Cannabis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Víctor Javier Rocha in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Quentín Dittmann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonatan Enekoitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Germán Gacitúa made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Quentín Dittmann however managed to control. 35 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's Aage Hill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Ripamonti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Aage Hill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gaspar Ripamonti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaspar Ripamonti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aage Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel was substituted for Aage Hill. Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Diaz Montero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Hector Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Obi Wan Cannabis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Buitrago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ysmael Llanos's late challenge caught a Monte Hermoso Beach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ysmael Llanos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Obi Wan Cannabis getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ysmael Llanos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Séamus Babasidis got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hector Montrel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gaspar Ripamonti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Hermoso Beach. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Montrel in the 64th minute of play forced Obi Wan Cannabis's goalkeeper Gaspar Ripamonti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Obi Wan Cannabis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Séamus Babasidis was slow to take the kick. During this time Monte Hermoso Beach's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Séamus Babasidis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Obi Wan Cannabis's Gaspar Ripamonti did a great save. Gaspar Ripamonti was a little too slow when Hector Montrel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-3. Quentín Dittmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teodor Buitrago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Obi Wan Cannabis booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Montrel in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Ripamonti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavius Marchiș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gaspar Ripamonti made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Hector Montrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Ripamonti was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Germán Gacitúa's late challenge caught a Monte Hermoso Beach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monte Hermoso Beach had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
