When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Claudio Caniggia took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Atilano Benat to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 17 minutes, Claudio Caniggia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube Zeus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Caniggia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chico Răica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Lleir in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Humberto Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dromes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Lleir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Răica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Atilano Benat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rafinha Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Benat having to interfere. Frederico Massa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Atilano Benat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luan Campidelis in the 31st minute. After 59 played minutes Esporte Clube Zeus got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Mirkovich. After 64 minutes Esporte Clube Zeus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Pablo Rodríguez who took care of the corner kick. Donato Sedeni made a great header on Dromes FC's corner, it was just that Esporte Clube Zeus's Chico Răica managed to reach the ball for a save. 68 minutes into the match, Humberto Lleir notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Esporte Clube Zeus's Chico Răica. Chico Răica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 minutes of play, Esporte Clube Zeus's Rafa Moura made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th match minute, Esporte Clube Zeus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Saldanha to maneuver through the defense.
