Tipper Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eugeniusz Tyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Osikowicz in the 37th minute of play. Hamburg City Vampires's Eugeniusz Tyski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Hamburg City Vampires from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the game, Géza Rákosi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamburg City Vampires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seniorita Varga the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Mendonça to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Hamburg City Vampires's Waldemar Radzyminski threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reinhard Borkmann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wrzosek in the 80th minute of play forced Hamburg City Vampires's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Marc Hooiveld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamburg City Vampires and the Seniorita Varga players grew even worse after the yellow card.
