Svend Betz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Centurión made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svend Betz in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Svend Betz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ezequiel Centurión to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FSX UNITED:s goal. Ezequiel Centurión had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Mircea Popilean's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Svend Betz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mircea Popilean hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svend Betz to make the kick off.
