Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaroslaw Niezgoda started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's Justino Loramendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fergus Fairbairn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 7th minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Justino Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Compostela FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mauro Paulista in the 10th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Chicão Cerezo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Niezgoda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Niezgoda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Justino Loramendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. It was Mauro Paulista who took care of the corner kick. 22 minutes into the game, Justino Loramendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Fergus Fairbairn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesar Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Gilespie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danny Gilespie succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 27th playminute. In the 36th minute, Justino Loramendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compostela FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. After some careless play in the Rangers FC defense, Chicão Cerezo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. The Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Fairbairn should have stopped the shot. Jaroslaw Niezgoda took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. In the 47th minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda made a precise shot to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fergus Fairbairn was a little too slow when Chicão Cerezo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-10. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Niezgoda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Niezgoda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-12. Justino Loramendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. After 70 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Robert Kornatowski. Compostela FSCMZ's Cesar Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Gilespie in the 71st minute of play. Jaroslaw Niezgoda scored 1-14 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fergus Fairbairn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Rodrigo Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Seco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaroslaw Niezgoda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fergus Fairbairn. That made the score 1-15 in the 85 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Compostela FSCMZ's Fergus Fairbairn threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boruc Poling, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 91 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Niezgoda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fergus Fairbairn. Jaroslaw Niezgoda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-16. Boruc Poling took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-17.
