With a little luck, Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn got control of the ball when Jaroslaw Niezgoda tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda in 10 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fergus Fairbairn guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Justino Loramendi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the 14th minute of the match. Jaroslaw Niezgoda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Fairbairn having to interfere. Fergus Fairbairn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chicão Cerezo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Rangers FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Justino Loramendi 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Fergus Fairbairn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Loramendi in the 23rd minute. Cesar Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyler McCraw in the 24th minute of play. Compostela FSCMZ's Cesar Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Carr in the 25th minute of play. The goal made the score 8-0. 43 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Niezgoda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fergus Fairbairn, 9-0. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cesar Peyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Compostela FSCMZ's Chicão Cerezo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 10-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Loramendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Compostela FSCMZ's Naldo Figueiredo was substituted for Robert Kornatowski. In the 82nd minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
