With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radoman Karaičić in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Leper saved BYDGOSTIA from getting behind. When Radoman Karaičić came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Thornhill City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radoman Karaičić couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, Thornhill City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Bjelić to maneuver through the defense. Kazimierz Jajko made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Thornhill City's Dejan Jovanić. In the 16th minute Olgierd Kowalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staniša Šorgić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Kazimierz Jajko in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Thornhill City's Dejan Jovanić. Zbyszko Leper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoman Karaičić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radoman Karaičić struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zbyszko Leper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thornhill City. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Draža Milentijević got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Staniša Šorgić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 36th minute of play. If Olgierd Kowalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damjan Stevančević hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Nicklas Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Staniša Šorgić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Olgierd Kowalski managed to get in a good position for a shot. BYDGOSTIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Olgierd Kowalski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Staniša Šorgić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olgierd Kowalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Staniša Šorgić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Sebastian Bochynski replaced Patryk Zgonina. Thornhill City made a substitution. Siniša Ognjanović replaced Dejan Jovanić. Stefan Bjelić made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Momir Ćirić however managed to control. Staniša Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Bochynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Ninoslav Mijanović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Leper was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Ninoslav Mijanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Leper having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, BYDGOSTIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. Thornhill City's Damjan Stevančević quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tytus Paprotny, made in the 90th minute of the game. A collision led to Thornhill City getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Stefan Bjelić hit a great ball. Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Thornhill City from getting a goal against them. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Thornhill City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BYDGOSTIA's performance. The match ended with a win for BYDGOSTIA.
