After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Mugurel Nediu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murcia Promesas's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Nediu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurence Van Den Abeele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murcia Promesas were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Apricis Bruxella's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Mundo took the corner. In the 12th minute, Salva Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Bartumeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Camba in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter Spethmann in the 15th minute of play forced Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Epifanio Bartumeu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murcia Promesas's Epifanio Bartumeu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Spethmann in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Mugurel Nediu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Pieter Spethmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apricis Bruxella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pieter Spethmann scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Bartumeu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Laredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes, Diedrik Jamieson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apricis Bruxella and the Murcia Promesas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mugurel Nediu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Laurence Van Den Abeele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Epifanio Bartumeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Spethmann in the 39th minute of play. Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Apricis Bruxella from getting a goal against them. Murcia Promesas were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Apricis Bruxella's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Mundo took the corner. The corner ended in Bartosz Nowak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele did a great save. The Murcia Promesas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Apricis Bruxella were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mugurel Nediu made a kick off. The supporters of Apricis Bruxella booed when Murcia Promesas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bardo Cameno didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Laredo in the 54th minute of play forced Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Mugurel Nediu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Diedrik Jamieson in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Murcia Promesas's Oro Arias. Apricis Bruxella's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pieter Spethmann in the 62nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Diedrik Jamieson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Nediu in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurence Van Den Abeele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurence Van Den Abeele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Laredo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Murcia Promesas's Mugurel Nediu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laurence Van Den Abeele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Murcia Promesas's zone, Pieter Spethmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Bartumeu came out of the goal and Pieter Spethmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murcia Promesas made a substitution. Pau Cacheres replaced Bartosz Nowak. Murcia Promesas's Elvio Silva was substituted for Alfredo Laredo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter Spethmann got free with Epifanio Bartumeu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Apricis Bruxella's Pieter Spethmann got a free kick in the 79th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Apricis Bruxella fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Nediu in the 82nd minute of play forced Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Laurens Vercammen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 89 minutes into the match, Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Epifanio Bartumeu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter Spethmann. With his leg Epifanio Bartumeu managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Apricis Bruxella's Pieter Spethmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 90 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Silva came free, but Laurence Van Den Abeele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Apricis Bruxella defense, Mugurel Nediu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurence Van Den Abeele. The Apricis Bruxella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurence Van Den Abeele should have stopped the shot. The Apricis Bruxella supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Apricis Bruxella would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
