Paulo Leal started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Leal in the 2nd minute of play forced PX33 United's goalkeeper Leandro Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Igor Niedzwiecki fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PX33 United's protests and gave Igor Niedzwiecki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PX33 United getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Igor Niedzwiecki hit a great ball. Hiperbórea's Santiago Couto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leandro Ostargi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Janusz Puchlik hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. PX33 United's Leandro Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Ferrão in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, PX33 United's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Baptista came free, but Leandro Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Ostargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Hiperbórea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Couto to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Tiago Ferrão in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 35th minute Călin Caciulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Călin Caciulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leandro Ostargi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of PX33 United booed when Hiperbórea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Niedzwiecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Tinoco having to interfere. Leandro Ostargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Caciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Hiperbórea's Vladimiro Caires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Ostargi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Niedzwiecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Paulo Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PX33 United's Leandro Ostargi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hiperbórea made a substitution. Corneliu Magheru replaced Vladimiro Caires. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Paulo Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hiperbórea's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Ostargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, PX33 United's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Caciulescu came free, but Leandro Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Janusz Puchlik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
