The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Rizea got free with Ismael Vellito in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Shuspendemo from getting a goal against them. Shuspendemo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Rivas in the 10th minute. A collision led to Shuspendemo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Réda Kolb hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Mauro Boselli made a precise shot to the right of Isac Hojbota. FC Politehnica Timisoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ismael Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Rizea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito got control of the ball when Olimpiu Rizea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Boselli in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Hojbota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isac Hojbota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Boselli, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Réda Kolb came free, but Isac Hojbota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Abad lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of FC Politehnica Timisoara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Shuspendemo:s goal. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Shuspendemo. Mauro Boselli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isac Hojbota. 0-2. After 38 minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Rivas who took care of the corner kick. Brooks Willison kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Mauro Boselli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes, Enrique Silban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shuspendemo and the FC Politehnica Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Shuspendemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olimpiu Rizea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Vellito having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Mauro Boselli from a close distance when the talented Isac Hojbota managed to make a qualified save. FC Politehnica Timisoara's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brooks Willison in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Isac Hojbota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Réda Kolb struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Isac Hojbota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shuspendemo. In the 65th minute of the match Shuspendemo got a corner. FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Rivas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lucas Rivas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isac Hojbota quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 68 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Réda Kolb came free, but Isac Hojbota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Boselli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Isac Hojbota made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Rizea came free, but Ismael Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Politehnica Timisoara made a substitution. Alin Moșanu replaced Vintilă Bălășescu. Shuspendemo's Venancio Kepa was substituted for Réda Kolb. In the 78th minute, Venancio Kepa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's Mauro Boselli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isac Hojbota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isac Hojbota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Kepa in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Isac Hojbota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shuspendemo's Lucas Rivas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isac Hojbota in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Maghiar came free, but Ismael Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Boselli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Isac Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Politehnica Timisoara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Shuspendemo's performance. The match ended with a win for Shuspendemo.
