Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ernest Manea made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Manea came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Gazi Arıcan came free, but Isac Hojbota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Ernest Manea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MegaFenerbahce's Atay Türegün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Manea in the 16th minute of play forced MegaFenerbahce's goalkeeper Atay Türegün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Riho Seitse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isac Hojbota. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Ernest Manea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Gazi Arıcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MegaFenerbahce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gazi Arıcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isac Hojbota made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Fabio Mancinelli sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Politehnica Timisoara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabio Mancinelli was slow to take the kick. During this time MegaFenerbahce's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Ferit İncesu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. MegaFenerbahce's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Manea in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when MegaFenerbahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedir Vasfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Manea in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Ernest Manea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Türegün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Manea might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atay Türegün. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernest Manea ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Mancinelli to make the kick off. Bedir Vasfi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Rizea came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ernest Manea took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Atay Türegün to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Atay Türegün managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when FC Politehnica Timisoara's Ernest Manea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goalkeeper Atay Türegün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olimpiu Rizea. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Yosua Helguera was substituted for Håvard Bjørke. After 71 played minutes MegaFenerbahce got a freekick which was hit by Ferhat Kaya. MegaFenerbahce's Adnan Özbala was substituted for Fabio Mancinelli. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when MegaFenerbahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhat Kaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Rizea in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Rizea in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atay Türegün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Rizea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atay Türegün was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. MegaFenerbahce's Atay Türegün proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save MegaFenerbahce from getting a goal against them. The FC Politehnica Timisoara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
