In the 7th minute, Urtungo Verdejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Kilström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Tristan. Corrado Piscopo scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Kilström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Medoacus Maior booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Nykvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Tristan came free, but Arne Kilström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Urtungo Verdejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devis Tolin in the 23rd minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Tristan in the 25th minute of the match. Arne Kilström made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Elia Bosco sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Medoacus Maior's Elia Bosco got a free kick in the 34th minute. Arne Kilström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Tristan in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, AIK FOTBOLL's Isac Sundström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Isac Sundström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AIK FOTBOLL protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Isac Sundström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 40 minutes AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström managed, with a little bit of luck, save Elia Bosco's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Tristan was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Olov Deckberg got a free kick in the 54th minute. AIK FOTBOLL's Andréas Fransson was substituted for Morgan Blom. AIK FOTBOLL's Jörn Hylander was substituted for Gürkan Gurka. A collision led to AIK FOTBOLL getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Olov Deckberg hit a great ball. Fredrik Axelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Tolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Axelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute Fredrik Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Diego Barresi made a precise shot to the right of Arne Kilström. AIK FOTBOLL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Piscopo came free, but Arne Kilström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Kilström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corrado Piscopo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Tristan in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Urtungo Verdejo came free, but Arne Kilström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corrado Piscopo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Elia Bosco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Kilström was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Olov Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medoacus Maior's Qais Khorshed was substituted for Cristiano Leggeri. Biagio Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Axelsson in the 83rd minute of play. AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Bosco in the 87th minute of play. Miguel Tristan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arne Kilström having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Tristan in the 89th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtungo Verdejo in the 93rd minute of play. Medoacus Maior walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
