The audience thought a goal was coming when Paavo Hirvonen got free with Tanek Zurawski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes Les Pionniers de Touraine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrik Höijer who took care of the corner kick. 21 minutes into the match, Porvoon Futura's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Beauval came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphaël Lallemand in the 24th minute of play. When Abraham Beauval came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Les Pionniers de Touraine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Beauval couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes Les Pionniers de Touraine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrik Höijer who took care of the corner kick. After 30 played minutes Les Pionniers de Touraine got a freekick which was hit by Cuauhtémoc Cardenas. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Abraham Beauval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Beauval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Toldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Beauval in the 37th minute of the match. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Beauval, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Beauval in the 39th minute of play forced Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Rhys Williams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abraham Beauval made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Eugen Iordan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Raphaël Lallemand quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 52nd minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Beauval had several of the Porvoon Futura's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Francesco Toldo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Francesco Toldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Beauval in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Co Vid came free, but Tanek Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Iso Gulli in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Rhys Williams. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Les Pionniers de Touraine walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
