Ermegildo Delgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Edmondo Del Monte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 29thth minute of the game Edmondo Del Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermegildo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldovino Argos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Del Monte in the 36th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Silva to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Santiago Silva put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ermegildo Delgado. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Ermegildo Delgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Asturcones d´la Abadía getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Veremundo Lastras hit a great ball. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Savas Karameris was substituted for Thanasis Kanavos. After 64 played minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía got a freekick which was hit by Gyula Szigligeti. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Kamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Silva got free with Ermegildo Delgado in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ermegildo Delgado was a little too slow when Zheng Yang Zhen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-6. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Montrel Olmedo was substituted for Angelo Esteban. Ernesto Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Delgado having to interfere. In the 91st minute Santiago Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Yang Zhen in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match, Zheng Yang Zhen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermegildo Delgado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ermegildo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Yang Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded ΠΑΟΚ FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Asturcones d´la Abadía.
