With a little luck, Valhalla F.C.'s Benicio Larez got control of the ball when Sven Granberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Izel Ronaldo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Valhalla F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eric Alaba hit a great ball. Thor Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Larez having to interfere. Valhalla F.C.'s Radek Majewski was substituted for Du Fan Fei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Ståhlberg in the 61st minute of play forced Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Larez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karim Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute of the match, Karim Morientes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Di Massa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karim Morientes took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Di Massa. Franco Di Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Karim Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Bergandy booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Alaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Karim Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Bergandy's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Morientes came free, but Franco Di Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Koch scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Larez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bergandy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valhalla F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
