Maximino Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Bălășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ingimundur Eiríksson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vinicio Felipo. Ingimundur Eiríksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Felipo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingimundur Eiríksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinicio Felipo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingimundur Eiríksson in the 24th minute. Vinicio Felipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingimundur Eiríksson's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Valer Bălășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, EL CERVECERO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingimundur Eiríksson in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Felipo saved EL CERVECERO F.C. from getting behind.
