Dimitri Bougault was slow to take the kick. During this time Herblay's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Holger Duusgaard to score against Dionisio Figueres in Real Armal F.C.'s goal. 0-1 after 9 minutes. Antonin Dagorne took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Figueres. Dionisio Figueres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 15th minute Dimitri Bougault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Figueres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 16th minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Dionisio Figueres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Real Armal F.C. defense, Arnaud Konieczny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Figueres. The Real Armal F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Figueres should have stopped the shot. 0-4 became the score in the 21st minute when Arnaud Konieczny elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Real Armal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Bougault came free, but Dionisio Figueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joël Willaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Arnaud Konieczny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Figueres. Real Armal F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaud Konieczny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Raúl Gasso charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Gasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raúl Gasso hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Dionisio Figueres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Konieczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arnaud Konieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaud Konieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Real Armal F.C. booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurent Vilcot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Real Armal F.C. defense, Norbert Cadart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Figueres. The Real Armal F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Figueres should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaud Konieczny made a kick off. Antonin Dagorne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Figueres having to interfere. Herblay's Sylvain Missonnier got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonin Dagorne got free with Dionisio Figueres in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute of the match, Norbert Cadart got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dionisio Figueres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Herblay's Norbert Cadart was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dionisio Figueres came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Dimitri Bougault. But to his dismay, Dimitri Bougault quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 66 minutes into the match, Antonin Dagorne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Figueres. Real Armal F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonin Dagorne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Dionisio Figueres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Holger Duusgaard went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Norbert Cadart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Armal F.C.'s Raúl Gasso got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dionisio Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaud Konieczny in the 88th minute of play. Dionisio Figueres had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when Arnaud Konieczny from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ludomil Kajdasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Gasso in the 89th minute of play. If Dimitri Bougault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute Raúl Gasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Armal F.C. getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Osmundo Dulce hit a great ball. When the match was over Herblay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Armal F.C. throughout the match.
