Cedrik Goossenss short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Gonçalo Vides to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cedrik Goossens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Gonçalo Vides when he managed to save the team from getting behind. White StarZ's Gonçalo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Wouters in the 8th minute of play. Herald Wouqier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Fausto Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Geetsvondel² getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Brend Van der Goten hit a great ball. When Fausto Bertol came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the White StarZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Bertol couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benne Marichal during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Jurgen Godts got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernst Vestlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Herald Wouqier stood somewhat misplaced when Jordi Peñaranda came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 52 minute. In the 67th minute of the match Aipytos Vardoulakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herald Wouqier skillfully saved the ball. White StarZ's Kosin Marianto was substituted for Fausto Bertol. The corner ended in Ernst Vestlund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordi Peñaranda got free with Herald Wouqier in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
