In the 12th minute of the match El retorno del Pincha got a corner. KS Junior's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Brion ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of KS Junior booed when El retorno del Pincha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Michal Karp notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El retorno del Pincha's André Zonta. André Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Mohora came free, but André Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS Junior were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after El retorno del Pincha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mieszko Percha took the corner. The corner led KS Junior's Wawrzyniec Cebula to a score. 1-2 in the 26th minute. Wawrzyniec Brytan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Thorsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Cebula in the 32nd minute of play forced El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper André Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Wawrzyniec Cebula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Wawrzyniec Brytan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Thorsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Lope in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, El retorno del Pincha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Mieszko Percha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Zonta. El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Mohora managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Karp to make the kick off. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Lope in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Lope came free, but Wawrzyniec Brytan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Inautzi came free, but Wawrzyniec Brytan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wawrzyniec Brytan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 93 played minutes KS Junior got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Percha. In the 94th minute Armando Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Brytan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Inautzi came free, but Wawrzyniec Brytan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, El retorno del Pincha's Sven Thorsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
