The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Grover was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Grover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Mohora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Yao Zhan Sang made a huge save. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when KS Junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Kubat didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KS Junior getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pawel Kubat hit a great ball. Cristian Mohora might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yao Zhan Sang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Mohora ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Omar Orlanda with Hudson Ribeiro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 79 played minutes KS Junior got a freekick which was hit by Michal Karp. 81 minutes into the game, Cristian Mohora lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Yao Zhan Sang.
