After a defensive mix-up in Nova Soccer's zone, Freek Som stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurilio Duque came out of the goal and Freek Som tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piero Quispes short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Harry Mik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Korfs in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piero Quispe got free with Harry Mik in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harry Mik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piero Quispe's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalie and right to Edinson Flores. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Leiden Spor Kulubu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Harry Mik made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Piero Quispe sent off a good shot on target. Harry Mik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Piero Quispe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piero Quispe got free with Harry Mik in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Favila Villaren. 35 minutes into the game, Arrigo Dorigatti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leiden Spor Kulubu the free kick. Billy Châtelet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurilio Duque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes Nova Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Billy Châtelet who took care of the corner kick. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donat Collier in the 41st minute of play. Edinson Flores hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piero Quispe was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Joost de Zaaijer came free, but Maurilio Duque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost de Zaaijer in the 51st minute of the match. Damien Korfs in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maurilio Duque firmly grabbed it by the left post. 69 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosmin Toacsen. Hector Pello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Maurilio Duque made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Piero Quispe made a precise shot to the right of Harry Mik. Leiden Spor Kulubu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nova Soccer appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freek Som, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freek Som, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Soccer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Billy Châtelet was slow to take the kick. During this time Leiden Spor Kulubu's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Leiden Spor Kulubu's Freek Som to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurilio Duque despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
