With a left leg Silvio Bazil saved Martin Palermo F.C. from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Türkeş Akşit came free, but Silvio Bazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhu Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Izquierdo in the 33rd minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Zhu Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Bazil came out of the goal and Türkeş Akşit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Lou Mazuret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Bazil. Martin Palermo F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lou Mazuret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Lou Mazuret hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
