Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Papunhas EC's Valdemar de Moraes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Valdemar de Moraes got a free kick in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Rojas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Nazario Serre. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 17th play minute Tobías Astorga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ismael Nazario Serre. 2-0. In the 25th minute, Christian Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papunhas EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Rodrigo Rojas in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papunhas EC's goalie prevented a goal. Rodrigo Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ismael Nazario Serre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobías Astorga kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Valdemar de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Benicio Javiero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdemar de Moraes scored 2-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Javiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Rojas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benicio Javiero came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Papunhas EC's Christian Baiano. But to his dismay, Christian Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 58 minutes into the game, Valdemar de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Benicio Javiero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Atlético Nuevo Laredo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rigoberto Olentzaro hit a great ball. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 62nd minute of the match. Ismael Nazario Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 68th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 69th minute of play. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the match Fabrício Carneiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Javiero skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute Rodrigo Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Carolo Bernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Nazario Serre having to interfere. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Valdemar de Moraes notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the game, Flavio Etxatxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papunhas EC the free kick. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Papunhas EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
