With a little luck, Kronan's Vilhelm Brander got control of the ball when Prospero Hug tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Atletico Saladillo FC got a corner. Kronan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Hug ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Atletico Saladillo FC's corner Prospero Hug fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vilhelm Brander quite easily take care of the ball. Prospero Hug's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vilhelm Brander firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 24 played minutes Gabriel Corderro rounded Kronan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Atletico Saladillo FC's Erland Sagbakken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Dalgren in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Drame came free, but Erland Sagbakken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Atletico Saladillo FC's Vilhelm Brander threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Corderro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vilhelm Brander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Corderro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The supporters of Kronan booed when Atletico Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erland Sagbakken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Drame, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Prospero Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kronan defense, Prospero Hug kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilhelm Brander. The Kronan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilhelm Brander should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Erland Sagbakken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Lundqvist in the 52nd minute of play. Vilhelm Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Hug in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Valter Åkerman. In the 58th minute Gabriel Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bror Lundqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erland Sagbakken having to make a save. David Dalgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Sagbakken having to interfere. Vilhelm Brander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Chorche in the 73rd minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bror Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Erland Sagbakken made a huge save. Kronan's John Eliasson was substituted for Rolf Apelqvist. After 78 minutes Atletico Saladillo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bror Lundqvist who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Corderro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Brander was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Erland Sagbakken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bror Lundqvist. 87 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Hug came free, but Vilhelm Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
