The supporters of Club Deportivo Santiago booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo was a little too slow when Evelio Terres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Xaiver Bara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Santiago's supporters rose to their feet, but Xaiver Bara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Criales scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
