In the 3rd minute, Bora Ersal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Tăbăcaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mugur Tăbăcaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rasmus Højlund went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Pardina's zone, Alejo Cucao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Tăbăcaru came out of the goal and Alejo Cucao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Fryderyk Gajewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mugur Tăbăcaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Stojmen Tujković proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save F.C BEŞİKTAŞ from getting a goal against them. Fryderyk Gajewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fryderyk Gajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Tăbăcaru having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Alejo Cucao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Tăbăcaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 33 minutes Pardina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Savaş Lütfi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Rasmus Højlund getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Fryderyk Gajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fryderyk Gajewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Tăbăcaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejo Cucao was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th match minute, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murat Uzalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Bora Ersal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Tăbăcaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. If Rasmus Højlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mugur Tăbăcaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasmus Højlund's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The F.C BEŞİKTAŞ fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Alejo Cucao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Rasmus Højlund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mugur Tăbăcaru. That made the score 0-11 in the 73 minute of play. Bora Ersal scored 0-12 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mugur Tăbăcaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mugur Tăbăcaru was a little too slow when Fryderyk Gajewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-13. After 86 minutes of play, F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Rasmus Højlund made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mugur Tăbăcaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mugur Tăbăcaru was a little too slow when Fryderyk Gajewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-16. 93 minutes into the game, Rasmus Højlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mugur Tăbăcaru. Rasmus Højlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-17. Mugur Tăbăcaru made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Alejo Cucao sent off a good shot on target.
