Stratton FC's Lawrance See played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Bulhosa in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Zoufalý in the 15th minute of play forced A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalkeeper Laureano Rijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lawrance See showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassiano Brochado in the 16th minute of the match. Stratton FC's Alessandro Sacchi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jakub Zoufalý charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakub Zoufalý the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Stratton FC got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Zoufalý. In the 22nd minute, Dakota Moorby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match Éder Palma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lawrance See showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jakub Zoufalý's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Rijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Alessandro Sacchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Rijo having to interfere. Laureano Rijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Zoufalý, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakub Zoufalý sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Lawrance See didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassiano Brochado to strike the kick off in the second half. Dakota Moorby hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Éder Palma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lawrance See. Stratton FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lawrance See stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassiano Brochado's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The supporters of A.D.ESMOJÃES booed when Stratton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dakota Moorby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Éder Palma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lawrance See came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.D.ESMOJÃES reached it. Eduardo Bulhosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stratton FC made a substitution. Ivan Warhurst replaced Jakub Zoufalý. A collision led to Stratton FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jens Sundström hit a great ball. Jens Sundström hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Palma came free, but Lawrance See reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mateus Baldaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrance See took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Bulhosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.D.ESMOJÃES walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
