The corner led to AFC Nirosxn 08's Ionică Savu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Atanasiu came free, but Xavies Berrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mon Postigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mugurel Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mon Postigo in the 23rd minute of the match. Xavies Berrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Jönsätt, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ionică Savu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Xavies Berrez made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Aquilino Masdeu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. AFC Nirosxn 08 played a much better game than Universitario and deserved their victory. The Universitario players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
