Aris Zanteroglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Fonseca in the 13th minute of play. The Bene Animatus fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Bene Animatus's Jardel Velloso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Periklis Pagopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Juvenal Talló made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Velloso in the 22nd minute of play forced Jose F.C.'s goalkeeper Aris Zanteroglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juvenal Talló saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 27 minutes into the match, Jose F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Velloso came free, but Aris Zanteroglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aris Zanteroglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazil Şahinter, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With an all-out effort, Jose F.C.'s Juvenal Talló threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ntinos Kaliakatsos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juvenal Talló stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Juvenal Talló took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Periklis Pagopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Juvenal Talló made a huge save. Juvenal Talló was a little too slow when Periklis Pagopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1.

After 52 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Perez. Aris Zanteroglou made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Simon Hooker sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jose F.C.'s goalkeeper Aris Zanteroglou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Periklis Pagopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Talló saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Bene Animatus got a corner. Jose F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sílvio Luís Prata ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jardel Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Aris Zanteroglou made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Jardel Velloso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aris Zanteroglou, 1-2. In the 70th match minute, Bene Animatus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Prata to maneuver through the defense.
