The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nikita Bolla struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Ubaldo Unai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. Julian Mon took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toto Caputo. Toto Caputo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ushuaia FC's Julian Mon got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Romero Zeier. Toto Caputo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Sesuldo in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Furcas in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Unai saved Ushuaia FC from getting behind. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when Ushuaia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes Ushuaia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Kelemen. In the 19th minute, Fire Devils's Andreas Furcas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nikita Bolla hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Mon came free, but Toto Caputo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Sesuldo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toto Caputo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Wenzel. Ubaldo Unai didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 39 minutes into the game, Ueli Siegenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fire Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ushuaia FC the free kick. The supporters of Ushuaia FC booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ueli Siegenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvester Flück kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Toto Caputo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Lajos Wenzel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Andreas Furcas put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ubaldo Unai. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Furcas was the one to do the kick off. Ubaldo Unai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Furcas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Toto Caputo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Nuxila. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Oberhauser in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Unai saved Ushuaia FC from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Ushuaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ushuaia FC's Froilan Camerino got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fire Devils's Ueli Siegenthaler got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Andreas Furcas notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Ushuaia FC's Ubaldo Unai. Ubaldo Unai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ubaldo Unai came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fire Devils's Georg Oberhauser. But to his dismay, Georg Oberhauser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Mauricio Sesuldos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Toto Caputo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Ushuaia FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bernabe Frantzes hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Mon came free, but Toto Caputo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Furcas. With an all-out effort, Ushuaia FC's Toto Caputo threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Mon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Toto Caputo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Nuxila. Fire Devils's Toto Caputo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Mon in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ueli Siegenthaler in the 85th minute of play forced Ushuaia FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Unai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Furcas in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Unai saved Ushuaia FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Furcas in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Unai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ubaldo Unai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Furcas in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Furcas in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Unai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th match minute, Ushuaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. Fire Devils's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
