AC Batán's Üllar Vilba quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Işıkalp Özbey, made in the 16th minute of the game. Acácio Nogueira scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Franco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Nogueira came free, but Leo Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Nogueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Nogueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Konrad Wielkopolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leo Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC Batán's Ni Le Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Avellaneda in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Acácio Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Leo Franco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 40 minutes, Angelo Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Batán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Orlondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC Batán's Üllar Vilba quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Işıkalp Özbey, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Ni Le Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Konrad Wielkopolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Acácio Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Franco. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acácio Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Acácio Nogueira took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Franco. Leo Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Acácio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Leo Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvestre Rexino hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of C.A. BOCA JUNIORS booed when AC Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Rexino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Bernardo Montel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrad Wielkopolski took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Franco. Cido Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cido Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Leo Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cido Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The AC Batán fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when AC Batán's Cido Cardozo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Cido Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AC Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cido Cardozo couldn't finish the play. AC Batán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
