Leonardo Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alessio Borrelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Dolar in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gafflarna IF's goalkeeper Leonardo Zanette, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gafflarna IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yin Hong Fan was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebracho FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Quebracho FC's Jose Manuel Arias to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonardo Zanette despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Gafflarna IF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Eriksson hit a great ball. If Alessio Borrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Dolar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quebracho FC's He Yi Yuan was substituted for Alessio Borrelli. Alejandro Edur made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Qian Feng Peng. In the 69th minute Nicanor Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes Gafflarna IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yin Hong Fan who took care of the corner kick. Wilhelm Bark charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Bark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilhelm Bark hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Gafflarna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Bikendi to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Flores in the 90th minute of the match. He Yi Yuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Zanette having to interfere. Nicanor Flores succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1.
