Antonio Giorgio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cooper Schurter in the 5th minute of play forced SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Chris Draxl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SK Fenerbahce Wien's zone, Ramon Iztal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Draxl came out of the goal and Ramon Iztal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvin Gernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Antonio Giorgio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Krause, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cooper Schurter in the 24th minute of play. Antonio Giorgio came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Fenerbahce Wien's Nereo Rik. But to his dismay, Nereo Rik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Håkan Rudkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Roland-Nicolas Hertz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orkatz Abeitia, made in the 31st minute of the game. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Iztal in the 33rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Rudkvist came free, but Chris Draxl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half SK Fenerbahce Wien were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brecht Govaerts to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Håkan Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Draxl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 minutes SK Fenerbahce Wien's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristi Chificeac who took care of the corner kick. Bayern Boliviano's Cristi Chificeac was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chris Draxl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute Ramon Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Draxl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Orkatz Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bayern Boliviano's Orkatz Abeitia got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatius Abancens in the 68th minute of play. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Roland-Nicolas Hertz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orkatz Abeitia in the 70 minute of the game. Tim-Florian Ramusch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Antonio Giorgio made a huge save. After having played for 73 minutes, Nereo Rik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Fenerbahce Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Rik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chris Draxl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Iztal in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignatius Abancens in the 76th minute of play forced SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Chris Draxl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Håkan Rudkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayern Boliviano made a substitution. Álvaro Peña replaced Cooper Schurter. When Ramon Iztal came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bayern Boliviano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Iztal couldn't finish the play. Erik Lundberg's late challenge caught a Bayern Boliviano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Lundberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bayern Boliviano booed when SK Fenerbahce Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin Gernberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Tim-Florian Ramusch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Antonio Giorgio made a huge save. Although Bayern Boliviano had been in control for most of the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien still came away with the win.
